Tennis & Multi-Sports Course
Held at Harrogate High School, the children will spend half the day receiving tennis coaching, which involves learning all the strokes, developing their movement and co-ordination skills, plus playing lots of ‘fun’ games as well as learning to play the ‘real’ game itself!
They will be put into a group with other children of a similar age and ability, then we can give them the right level of coaching, using the appropriately sized racket, ball and court to match their ability.
They will spend the rest of the day receiving coaching in sports such as football, cricket, basketball, netball, hockey, touch rugby, badminton etc. plus team games such as benchball, prisoner and kingball! They will also take part in our uniquely formulated “crazy team building challenges”, which are great fun and teach the children the importance of working together!
What to bring…
Children will need to bring a packed lunch each day, with plenty to drink! Appropriate sports clothing should be worn, ie. T-shirt, shorts, sweatshirt, tracksuit bottoms and trainers. Warm, waterproof jackets will be needed in case of colder/showery weather!
Children should bring their own rackets if they have them; for those that don’t, we have rackets that can be borrowed. Rackets however can be purchased on the course at a discounted price.
The No Limits School of Coaching was set up in 2002 by Amanda Kayes, with the aim of delivering top quality tennis coaching to children throughout Harrogate and District, at affordable prices!
